hope everyone's Christmas was awesome. mine was so random and it felt so weird. i've spent pretty much every christmas in the last 20 years being cold, staying inside and trying to keep warm. but this year, we woke up and swam in the pool, we lounged around the house while fans cooled us down, i wore practically nothing all day. lol today was eighty degrees here in sunny socal and i just don't want to leave. the upside is we're going to more warm weather. 

a girl could get used to this.. :) but show of hands- is anyone else super happy the holidays are going to be over soon? i mean, new years has never really been that big of a deal. this year we're going to some event with my mother-in-law but otherwise it'll be a chill rest of the year. hanging with family is one of my favorite things to do, but they tire me out y'all. there's always so much going on. and this year was no exception.

there's LOADS more to update from this awesome holiday week and i'll be sure to get right on it. tonight is our last night in san diego. tomorrow we leave and are aiming to rest after about 10-12 hours of driving, putting us somewhere in new mexico. we'll be in texas soon enough!! {i haz nerves!}
