McFatty Monday

I'm still feeling very proud of myself! Way to go me for continuing on the exercise circuit. I've been working out at Soldier's Field House which is largely less popular than McVeigh. I love it. There's virtually no one there which means I can take my time and not feel like someone's watching my every move. They also have a pool so that's cool.

I wake up everyday feeling some sort of muscle fatigue from my workouts. That's always good. I find myself upping the weights during my lifting sessions. Which means I'm getting stronger. I haven't run in a few days and, to be honest, I'm a bit apprehensive to get back on it. My legs feel really heavy lately. Grr.

I have no idea what's going on with the scale. The numbers aren't going down anymore. I'm a bit miffed at that. But my clothes fit better. I feel better. WHY ISN'T THE SCALE REFLECTING ANY OF THAT?

That's pretty much all I have to say for McFatty Monday. Working out rocks. I'm having a good time.

Oh, and my arms are starting to look more toned. GO ME!

  1. Way to go lady. I have found it so hard to get out into an actual workout routine. I need to get on it myself, but I love hearing how other mommas are doing it! Keep at it!

  2. I also took my measurements when I started this weight loss journey. I figure the scale can say whatever it wants, but if I'm losing inches in my bust/waist/hips then that trumps the scale.

  3. ahh but here's the catch are you taking in enough calories to balance out the exercise now?? and muscle will weigh more then fat.. which in essence sucks it just looks better lol
