Eighteen Weeks DOWN. woot.

How far along: Eighteen weeks and Six Days
Total weight gain: from starting weight, +3.2lbs
Maternity clothes: I bought a really cute maternity sweater from H&M...it makes me feel like a mom
Stretch Marks: nothing new..and I'm using this cocoa butter stuff to help prevent new ones!
Sleep: I wish I wasn't waking up to pee every few hours
Best moment this week: I finally took down the Christmas decorations from inside!
Worst moment this week: feeling really sleepy.
Movement: TOTES felt movement this week. Even Daddy could feel!
Cravings: Pepsi. eek.
Baby's size in food terms: sweet, sweet potato

Belly Button: innie innie innie. but every now and then it has a little pop.
Gender: I'll be able to find out in 9 days. CAST YOUR VOTE ON THE SIDEBAR!
What I miss: not being so tired.
What I am looking forward to: 9 days until finding out if B is a girl or a boy!

Labor Signs: random BH contrax, but nothing else really.
Weekly Wisdom: Re-reading my Bradley book and feeling confident in getting a labor I can be proud of.


  1. Jealous, I have yet to feel movement...no bubbles, no weird little flutters, nothing. :( hopefully soon!

    I can't wait until you find out what you are havingggg.

  2. Careful with cocoa butter! It contains caffeine and is absorbed through the skin, which can affect baby's heart rate.

    I've been told by doctors never to use it.

    You might be better using coconut oil or shea butter :)

    PS: Your belly is looking positively BELLYFUL! Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy!

    I didn't know about cocoa butter! Oh no. I checked and I'm actually using shea butter so that's a relief!
